Since 1995 we have been organizing Guided Bicycle Tours in Portugal under the name of BTTour. We have already organized more than 300 Bicycle Tours and more than 9000 people have ridden with us!

BTTour is a Tour Operator and a Tourism Animation Agency registered at Portuguese Tourism Board.

BTTour is licensed to organise Hiking Tours, Bicycle Tours and Car Tours. The activities developed by BTTour are classified as Nature Tourism by Portuguese Tourism Board.

In 2003 we decided to offer something else – to show our beautiful country to those who live beyond our borders. We created PortugalBike to share with people all over the world some of the most unique biking experiences. Being a success, in 2010 we decided to create PortugalHike - Walking and Hiking Tours in Portugal.

Being a Portuguese-owned Company, we know our country better than anybody else and we want to expose people to places and curiosities about Portugal that only a Portuguese knows!On PortugalBike Tours you have the opportunity to visit our historical, cultural and landscape heritage in our National Parks, enjoy the sun and the beaches, and at the end of the day you can recover your strength with an exquisite dinner. ABOUT PORTUGAL

Portugal is a small country located in the Iberian Peninsula, in the extreme west of Europe and being bordered by Iberian PeninsulaSpain and the Atlantic Ocean. Although it is a small country (about 700km long and 350km wide) it has three different climates: Maritime – characterised by constant rain originating a region with luxuriant vegetation; Continental – characterised by cold nights and warm and dry days: and finally Mediterranean – characterised as mild with short thermal amplitudes. This creates a variegated morphology, originating several micro-climates and different landscapes within a small space.

Portugal is known by the warmth of its people, by an incredible variety of breathtaking landscapes, historic fortresses, and typical and historical villages. The gastronomy is very rich thanks to the many different peoples that invaded our land and also due to the influence of our Discovery journeys.
