The main gite has 3 bedrooms - two doubles and one twin/triple so can sleep 7 comfortably. It has original oak beams throughout, pointed stone walls and is renovated to a high standard and fully equipped. It has a large terrace, South facing with a spectacular view of Mount Canigou. Mountain walking, biking, canyoning and other mountain sports are right on your doorstep.
The courtyard apartment has two double bedrooms and shares a courtyard with the owner's own house. It is renovated to a high standard and an ideal base from which to explore the region.

The property is situated in Los Masos, in the conflent valley in the Pyrenees Orientales, 3km from the market town of Prades.
There is freshwater swimming in a lake (with small beach/refreshments available) only 10 mins away, or a leisurely 45 min drive takes you to the Mediterranean beaches and the marine reserve at Banyuls.
45 mins in the other direction will take you to the ski slopes at Font Romeu and Les Angles.
For mixed groups the surrounding area has much to offer besides sporting activities - children's activities, picturesque villages, churches and abbeys, or just relaxing and enjoying the local food and hospitality...
Whether you are coming for a week, a fortnight, or a long weekend, we are open year round.
We have lived in the area for 6 years, have many local contacts, and are on hand next door to help with any questions or requirements you have during your stay. French and English spoken fluently. |
