90ft Abseil

Climb the lime scale face in front of you secure in the knowledge of instruction from qualified staff at the centre. Then take control as you lean back over the edge and in a controlled descent you are lowered down the face you just climbed.

Learn the basics of abseiling, safe in the knowledge that you are attached to a safety rope.

Itinerary / Highlights

* Full safety briefing and all equipment are included
* Climb ice carved rock face & Abseiling down it
* Instructor in full control of the 90ft descent

After arriving at the centre you will be given detailed safety instructions on how to climb and secure yourself all the way to the top of the Lime face, then after achieving the upwards climb prepare your self for "What goes up, must come down."

Again with instruction lean your self back and take control all the way to the bottom, conquering an exhilarating challenge, well recommended!!!

Restrictions:
From 8 years and up – to as old as you like!
For the 90ft abseil at Llangollan you will need your own transport
And there is a ratio of 1:6 people per instructor

Duration:
You should allow half a day for the experience, please arrive 15mins before the start time.

What to Wear / Equipment:
This activity is fully supervised by our qualified instructors. All safety equipment is provided. Participants should wear suitable clothes and footwear. Bring waterproofs in case of rain. The sites are a short drive from the Activity Centre so you will need your own transport.

Group Size / Spectators:
Spectators can watch from the ground and a camera is recommended.

The sport can be weather dependent, if in doubt please contact the centre closer to the day of your experience.
