Let's go sport lead climbing!

Have you seen other climbers lead their way up climbing routes, either inside or outside, as they take the rope with them? Well this is the course to learn how it's done.

Once you've completed this course you'll be confident in leading your way up any single pitch sport route on both indoor walls and outside rock-faces.

The course involves:

•Lead Belaying
•Lead Climbing
•Sports Climbing Rack, Ropes & Quickdraws
•Threading Anchors and Safe Lower-off use
•Using a guide book
•Climbing calls and communication
•Developing movement skills
•Understandings of outdoor risks when sport climbing
•Building confidence
•Lots of quality climbing

The total package includes:
•5 days instructed climbing
•1 day off (either sit by the pool or go off climbing with the others on holiday)

Itinerary / Highlights

Normal days events:

8-9am: Breakfast to set you up for the day

9-9:30: Brief on the days climbing and understanding what you want to do!

10-11:30: climbing

11:30-1:30 More climbing

1:30-2:30: Lunch

2:30 Climb until you drop!
