Day 1: Rock Climbing
At Crazy horse buttress just outside of Chiang Mai we introduce you to the excitement and fun of Top Rope Climbing and Rappelling.
During the morning part of the course we climb and get familiar with our basic techniques. Then, after a break for lunch, we take a scenic hike up to the top of the climbing area where we will learn the basics of setting up a rappel system.

The skills you learn in the morning climbing session have allowed you to rappell with confidence. You’ll will finish the day with an
exhilarating 50 meter rappel down into the mouth of a monstrous cave.

Rock the Gibbon is an ideal course for 1st timers who want a taste of some of the thrills and skills involved in the popular sport of rock climbing. In the late afternoon, you will be taken the short distance from Crazy Horse rock to your accommodation in Mae Kompong, the home of Flight of the Gibbon. Friendly villagers will greet you and bring you to their homestays where
you will enjoy a delicious evening meal. After this you’re free to explore the charming ancient village. For a small extra cost we can arrange a cultural show of traditional music and dance.

Included in Day 1:
All transportation, equipment, lunch, dinner in the homestay, snacks, fruit, water, insurance and qualified instructors — Our climbing instructors have been certified by North America’s most credible institutions in first aid and rescue techniques.

Day 2: Ziplining through the Thailand Rainforest We start the day with a hearty breakfast. The highlight of the package is next: The Flight of the Gibbon — a 3 hour, 2km air trek high up in the rainforest canopy employing zip lines and skybridges to take in the glory and majesty of old growth, high altitude pristine rainforest.

A delicious lunch is served on your return. Then, we finish your adventure with a lovely trek up alongside beautiful Mae Kompong Waterfall. Before you return to the city of Chiang Mai we provide an afternoon snack featuring locally grown organic Arabica coffee, after which, we hop into the VIP minibus and head back to civilisation.

Friendly villagers will greet you and show you to the home stay where you will enjoy a delicious evening meal. The evening is yours to either explore the village that time has stood still in or perhaps have your hosts organize a cultural show of music and dance for a small extra cost. After you’ll rewind in the cosy comfortable beds of your host family.
