Sardinia has developed a fantastic reputation as a rock-climbing destination. Its mountainous nature provides rocky interiors and coastlines, in wonderful and wild settings. There are up to 50 crags on the island of Sardinia, spread out over four main areas. The island provides the ultimate in fine weather sports climbing, traditional climbing and bouldering, not to mention the added bonus of true Italian ‘Gelati’ after a hot days work out. We base this sun and fun packed week in the famous climbing village of Cala Gonone in the province of Nuoro. This picturesque village is sandwiched between countless climbing crags and crystal blue sea. Experience: Equally suitable for beginners to advanced Dates: You can climb in Sardinia all year round, but the ideal climbing is out of mid summer - March-June and Sept/October. It's still warm enough to enjoy the sun, but not too hot to climb! Our courses are run on a flexible basis so get in touch for more information.
