Sandstone Rock Climbing Experience in Czech Paradise

Spend a fantastic day at the sandstone Rocks

This course is designed for those who are not entirely sure if sandstone climbing is for them, or for those who just want to enjoy a climbing day on the real rocks. You can come and find out what this kind of climbing is all about without any worries. You'll climb tight safely to the end of the rope. Instructor will lead climbs for you so you can just soak up the atmosphere of unique sandstone climbing, which can't be found anywhere else in the world than in The Czech Republic and in German Saxon.

You'll find out what the movement on the rock feels like and how different it is to that of the climbing wall. We show you the techniques of climbing on chimneys, cracks and slabs. You'll also do some abseiling.

Itinerary / Highlights

Some of the unique qualities of sandstone climbing are:

• long distances between the bold rings or the total absence of bold rings

• use of soft knots of different sizes and shapes for protection, use of friends, nuts and other metal gear is prohibited

• no chalk rules because of the chalk marks on the rock

We have years of experience of rock climbing and rock climbing intuition and we know how to assure your absolute safety even in the most extreme climbing situations. We know perfectly every climbing area we take you to, that's why we know which climbing routes are suitable for you. Our instructors are holders of the 'Rock climbing instructor' certificate, which is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Physical Training (MSMT). They are active climbers, who are continually improving their climbing and instructor knowledge and skills.

Rock climbing is a sport which gives you many splendid times resting on the top, but it also gives you moments full of excitement and adrenalin while you climb to the top.
